MYP Panic

Yes MYP Panic has set in the school is expecting a visit from the MYP IB Liaison as such there is a vast amount of bullshit and polish going on... similar I guess to an HMI inspection in UK .. we have been told to put up a variety of Posters and guide sheets that the kids are supposed to have been working with for the last 7 months...

The visit is on Monday so I wont panic too much as i have grade 8 all day and they will be working ...

Today I had the pleasure of taking my Mentor class to the Sex education Talk given by the Psychology unit.

Since it was all in Spanish and all Powerpoints were visually non stimulating text. I was probably as bored as the kids were. As I commented to one of my colleagues on the way back for coffee "I think a lot of the kids are more VISUAL and KINAESTHETIC learners than AUDITORY !!!"

The rest of the day was uneventful, some work carried out and technology club in the evening so I didn't get back to 1800 making the evening in the flat seem much shorter.

Tomorrow is once again Friday damn it seems to have flown in this week but I also feel I have some slight bug at the moment since although I feel ok in general I tire very easily. Maybe a few early nights over the weekend will sort me out... WHAT I ACTUALLY WANT IS TO LIE IN A BATH !!! Showers don't cut it for relaxation.
