Jeans day

Today was jeans day...which was quite useful always nice to get out of a tie for a day even though i kind of like it.

I had received a receipt for a visit from the water board which took place when I was at work and they couldn't get in..I didn't really understand it so i took it into work and gave it to the administration who told me the water board wanted to visit the flat and checkout the pipes as my Water usage is in their view TOO LITTLE !!! Now bearing in mind I dont have a washing machine and the only water used is a shower in the morning and washing up at night (and the odd flush of course) I am not surprised. God knows when they are going to come.

All the girls and women in school today each received a rose. Today (saturday when your reading this) is International Womens Day so the boys brought in Roses for the girls and all the teaching staff had a rose sent to them in class.. Kind of a nice touch. Needless to say Roses here are not anywhere near as expensive as Roses in UK.

I am glad its the weekend I need a long lie tomorrow as I am feeling tired recently partly due to the non stop work since coming back after xmas. Having said that time seems to be flying in and after the Easter break it is all downhill to the end of the contract.
