Today is a Good Day.

Its Saturday. My plans were to buy memory for the laptop now called Del not the computer company the TV market trader always looking for a deal !!, get a hat and new shoes.. simple things in life. I walked down to the Unicentro and as I went in I remembered that I had seen a hat shop on the second floor, sadly the one I wanted was only in large and contrary to popular belief I dont have a big head so settled for a medium one but in black. (I wanted a cream coloured one that would have matched my jacket.)Now I just look like a member of the mafia. The hat sadly is a necessity I felt really poorly earlier this week due to the sunburn and now I am beginning to look like a piebald horse where areas of the "suntan" are peeling away !!! Not to worry this should help.










The computer memory was a success the HP laptop shop sadly only had one memory chip in and I wanted 2 but that wasn't a big issue I took the one and asked them to get another one in for next week.. so fingers crossed I will have 2gb in Del then .. and I have to be honest with just the extra 521mb in just now the system seems far happier more responsive and I can actually run vista at a reasonable resolution.
Leaving Unicentro hat on head I made my way back to Exito and bought a pair of LANDROVER shoes, designed for ALL TERRAINS.. they have a good sturdy sole and are really comfortable but as yet haven't walked far in them... that comes tomorrow.

So today I had 3 things I wanted to do and all 3 things got done .. Damn that makes for a good feeling.

There was some unsettling news earlier in the week where my Mother In Law had been taken poorly due to what has been diagnosed as a minor stroke, fortunately she seems to be making a good recovery and is back home after a short visit to Hospital. She has my best wishes for a full recovery and a reminder to take things easy !!!
