Saturday Overcast, Cool but High Humidty too

Hello Good Evening and Welcome. In tonights commentary we will discuss the general view of living and working in Bogota - maybe.

Work... First off I have been re-assessing the course work I am doing with the kids as it wont be possible to get all the things I want to do done in the time that is left. Its really flying in when I think of it. Its now the end of January. This has been brought about by a desire to produce a Mothers day Picture frame for the kids which they will design and manufacture and I will have their photo's taken in class printed off on the laser printer to give them a nice picture to give on May the 11th (Thats Mothers Day this side of the World),So all of April Grades 6 and 8 will be involved in that. I had been trying to think of another option for the Grade 6 kids as some families have kids in both age groups but with our limited resources picture frames seem like a good and effective Idea small ones for the Grade 6 kids and larger ones for the grade 8 kids which will also have a lot more design on them. I ran one up as an example using MDF and it works quite well, though I took a lot of hassle from Diana and Nelson (Not that I care smiles)

Today I took a wander round the local area, and took a few more images/
As you can see its not always sunny but did manage to walk around without getting wet. Though the gathering clouds over the hills didnt look encouraging.

This is taken along the Road known as the 19 in the centre of the photo you can see 2 of the local police, there were about 4 of them as I passed think it might have been break time.

This photo was taken as I left the Exito got to love the Exito I had a serious first there today I didnt BUY anything !! Seriously it took a great deal of self control... as I looked at the trousers, shoes, shirts etc etc

On the way back I passed an out door flower shop, I have passed it often and I am always amazed at the splash of colour they always have on view.

So there we are a wander around the Cedritos area of Bogota. Tomorrow (weather permitting) I hope to wander back down to Usaquen so will add some more images then.

Chao Amigos
