Long walks makes for a tiring but satisfying day.

I set off at 9.45 without any real idea of where I was going there were two thing on my mind.
1 - I wanted to check out the stall in Usaquen that I bought the bumbag from its so good I thought I would check out the other colours other than black i seem to remember they had a blue and brown both of which looked good.
2 - I wanted to go back to Unicentro and check out the "laptop" in the HP shop after having seen it last week I was literally awestruck by its simplicity and aesthetics while under the bonnet so to speak is one of the most powerful systems I have come across. Intel 2.2ghz with 4gb of RAM and 360GB HDD.











Its is stunning in reality, the laptop equivalent of a Bugatti, big and beautiful,










with a 20" Wide Screen. thats not really a laptop more an entertainment centre. BUT (Heres the justification bit) I spend so much time on the PC I feel that this would be a worthwhile investment. However at the same time I cannot justify buying it unless I secure one of the jobs I am being interviewed for in either Jordan or Dubai.

So if I get a job I buy the laptop if I dont get a job I keep this lovely Compaq Presario running Vista that is the laptop equivalent of a Del Boys reliant Robin !!!!










The walk was good, Sundays are really good days to go as they block off one of the main roads giving lots of room to walk without traffic and thousands do every single weekend. Its something that should be done in far more cities, there is something encouraging about seeing families and individuals out walking not in ones or twos but in literally hundreds.











A quick pic of my favourite store this one is at the UniCentro shopping centre but in truth the local one is far better, On sale in the main entrance of it a small touch of home...Johnnie Walker Whisky made in my home town of Kilmarnock.











It also gives you the opportunity to check out the BillBoards, this one on the 19 was advertising HEROES. If you havent seen the show you should definitly take time too its an interesting series.

The first series was 24 episodes long but the second series was only 11 episodes due to the ongoing US Scriptwriters strike, shame you feel cheated by the shortness of the series.










Finally for tonight hailing a taxi is something everyone does, but I wonder what this taxi Driver thought when he was flagged down......
