But the reason we didn't find it yesterday is the small matter of it being in a different plce from their address on the receipt. It said it was on the 163 at the junction of the 21, 56 metres from the junction. I love Bogota street info in theory its so easy to find the exact spot. As long as they don't change the streets and the roads... Last year the city council changed ALL the roads in Bogota !! address like 140, 22, 96, changed to 140, 12, 96 a change of 10 Blocks but in other areas it changed even more, and many people haven't updated their paperwork yet. Yesterday we had checked the OLD and the NEW address on the receipt but what we hadn't considered was that not only had the roads changed in this area but the streets as well IT wasn't the 163 I wanted but the 163A !! which turned out to be a substantial distance away from the 163 !!! Least I don't feel quite so bad.
The Holy Grail of Glasses as obtained from the ISS Opticians, They are Transitions ie the change rapidly under bright light and also Progressive (Or Varifocal as we know them in UK). They are incrediibly light and are so much more comfortable to wear both from the visual side as well as the weight.
I also took a walk and dropped off my washing though have decided to get my trousers drycleaned this time mainly because they come back pressed !! After that it was buy some Corbatas (Sounds so much better than Ties) I have come to the conclusion that you cannot have enough Corbatas....
During the week the school were taking pictures for the school yearbook... I had Gela (Pronounced Hella) one of the staff take one at the same time using my camera..
So here I am with my Mentor Grade 8 class. They are an OK bunch but the boys can be a bit of a handful some times.
