Sunday Update.

This morning I was up early to join Martha and Oscar in handing out food and hot chocolate to the homeless in the central park area. As you can see from the attached pics it was a nice day .. My slightly tender head can testify to the fact it was a bit hot.

Thes two lads were in the car park area they were playful but I did wonder what sort of education they get if any .... Notice one boy has managed to get hold of 2 plastic cups of hot chocolate.

The main roads in Bogota are pretty bad as it is with Pot Holes but as soon as you get off the main road conditions worsen rapidly, tarmac is a novelty in some areas.

This is the small boy whose task is to wave a large flag to try to entice drivers to pull into his car park area / when you consider its 50p an hour and the carpark can probably hold 20 cars its a reasonable money spinner if they can get cars in and out every hour. Doesn't look too happy maybe because I was taking his picture or maybe because the seat isnt perhaps the safest.

In the afternoon I was out walking when I came across a man walking 2 beautiful Chows and then I noticed he was carrying a pup in his arms... I had to take a picture it was such a cute pup...

Its not unusual to see guys like this walking about. The military presence here is always visible when you look for it.

The last picture for this post the ANDES as I see them every day.

Last words, the outline to what was happening between the Head Teacher and the Board was aired for the final time on Saturday and the story that has reached me so far is that Brian Seve has decided not to fight the board any longer and has now decided his sacking is the end of his time at the English school. If that is the case it will be a shame as I do believe unlike the board that he was trying to do the best for the school.
