I did my usual wander about today, thought I would try a couple of other places for memory sadly I failed to find anywhere else that would stock it. But it was an overcast day so was pleasant walking, I can certainly see my buying a hat was a great idea .. sun hasnt shone since I got it so its obviously working as I can also state I havent had any sunburn since either. In actual fact tonight it is pouring and has been thundering and lightening since around 4pm. One very strange sensation today was what I think was an earth tremmor. I was sitting at the computer at 16:20 and I would swear I felt the table and my chair MOVE. Now it was either a tremmor or I started drinking a lot earlier than I thought. I havent seen anything on the international news but the local news unfortunately is in spanish and I dont know the spanish for tremmor.. no doubt I will find out tomorrow at school.
That aside there wasn't a great deal going on today. I did buy some more imitation grass for my school project so I hope to have the major area all done during my free periods tomorrow, meaning the kids will start building next week. Bearing in mind the project has to finish just before easter and I havent looked at the wiring for the lighting yet, that might be a task for tomorrow. I do have 3 grade 6 classes tomorrow but have requested Nelson be in the class as well as it is impossible to try to deal with 28 kids all at the same time at this stage of the project.
So tomorrow is another week I have to admit for me the time is flying in, but that is partly because the teaching is so enjoyable. I wonder if next year i will feel the same.
The final bit for tonight is a photo... You very rarely see any rubbish on the streets of Bogota, certainly in this area. This is due to the people who live on the border of poverty and who travel the streets at night and generally perform the function of environmental reutilisation. Everything can be recycled and everything is well except for these today. Maybe they were left as they looked like they had a purpose other than their original one of course...
