200th Post

Well here it is the 200th Post over 10 months and 3250 visits....

Today should have been a bad day but in fact it was an enjoyable day, the kids all grade 6 worked hard and showed a lot of effort.

Tomorrow is of course Wednesday and short periods but its also my short day with just 2 classes so the day should fly in.

I bought a very expensive pencil before xmas its a clutch type from Lamy but with a very hard wearing and thick lead, Its amazing how it actually encourages you to draw and sketch and I use it daily in class. Tonight I was down to just 1 lead left so i wandered up to the 24 hour paper and pen shop ! asked for a lead and got a tube of 4 leads for 6000 pesos (£1.50) expensive for leads but they are outstanding and on average last about 3 months per lead.

On the way back I decided to treat myself to tea and stopped at my end of the road fast food place. Greeted with a smile the 2 girls who work there laughed as I approached said good evening then asked if I was having my Hamburgesa... I chose not to (Daring I know)and instead glancing quickly at the menu I chose COMBO 2 !!! (I hadn't a clue what combo 2 was, but it was food and I was taking it away.) Combo 2 turned out to be sliced steak grilled with chips and onions and salad in a fruity brown style gravy along with coke (The Cola style if you please). It was AMAZINGLY GOOD and cost all of £2.25

So overall a good day and a nice meal, wonder what tomorrow will bring.
