Although Wednesdays are long and sometimes tedious it does feel that the weekend is almost here.
Today I had my 4 grade 8 classes I really do enjoy working with the kids and its interesting listening to them complain about how hard this school build task is but at the same time watching them developing ideas and solving the problems they come across.
It is without doubt a testing task and one designed to make them think and work together, some groups are doing incredibly well others are still struggling to find an easy way of doing things which of course wastes time - something they dont have a lot of.
The downside to the 4 grade 8 classes today is the short periods where you struggle to get anything done... where as tomorrow its Grade 6 all day and full periods. I will be demented by the time I get back to the flat. The only upside is the grade 6 kids are manufacturing their Tangrams so apart from the health and safety issues it should be a reasonably busy and productive day.
