That was without doubt the worst day and a half travelling I have experienced, granted the lay over in Madrid wasnt ideal. Then add to that the flight to Bogota took off on time but ended up 45 minutes late, that my Colombian mobile had ran out of credit (Their PAYG is still only active for 30 days whether you use it or not), that my UK Mobile wont let me call any Colombian numbers BUT will let me message them, that I couldn't get in touch with Martha who was organising the TAXI for me so ended up just jumping in one at the airport and getting back that way.
SO ALL IN it was an adventure and I am almost sleeping typing this, BUT did get a quick contact from home letting me know my dads scan for cancer has shown he is Cancer Free WELL DONE DAD it was a struggle but I am so pleased for you and I know both he and my mum will feel so much more relieved and can now get on with spending whats left of my inheritance after the recent stock drops ...lol - Yes he can now go back to worrying about stocks and shares instead of his health and thats a BIG BIG PLUS. ENJOY the holiday I am sure you will be planning even as I type this.
More tomorrow after the interview... 4am start I must be off my sodding head...
