Its Sunday and its been restful .. usual Sunday busy morning then relaxing for a wee bit then a short walk.. bought a couple of wee items from the artisan market and then picked up some essentials for the fridge, Eggs and Beer. And got conned The supermarket here employ people to walk about with freebies for you to try or taste normally I try to avoid them (Mainly cos I havent a clue what they are actually telling me about their product BUT some times its a nice drink sample (They did Johnnie Walker a few weeks back I did notice the shop was a bit busier that day than normal.) Today I was thirsty and this very nice assistant gave me a small cup and poured in some form of juice that was chilled and tasted of fruit - I tried it it wasn't that bad and was made from SOYA but what the hell she had been kind enough to chat away to me for about 3 minutes with just grunts and smiles from me so if it helped her reach her quota of sales it was worth it. as long as it tastes ok from the fridge. (Must check to see if it has an expiry date)
And that really kind of sums up my day. Just a quiet sunday like every other one. Tomorrow I have 4 grade 8 classes which is a nice day as the kids seem to enjoy working and I enjoy watching. Though time is running out they have 2 periods left and they really need to be starting manufacture this lesson and completing the building and the paperwork for the end of the last lesson .. then I get to mark it and see how they have done. Its been pleasing to see most making an effort and working as a team.
Final image .. I tidied up and moved some things about so this is my TV area, complete with mood lighting underneath the glass topped table and a candle on top of TV. exciting huh !! and yes sorry Madonna was on and visuually it was more stimulating than Morse !! Though some may argue the point. And please NO COMMENTS about the Blue Teddy bear Curtains !!! I have grown quite fond of them so they're staying. (Unless the fashion police visit)
