2 Months down

I have now been in Bogota for 2 months doesn't feel like 60 days but that is what it is. Its getting close to the October break and due to a variety of events happening prior to the weeks holiday I am losing teaching days all over the place.. very frustrating.

Most of the new teachers are planning to go off to Cartegna (one of the most picturesque areas of Colombia on the West Indies coast) I've been invited along but haven't decided yet if I want to go and do the tourist bit in the sun at this time. I have a lot of things I'd like to do but sitting in the sun for a week isn't top of my list at the moment.

We'll see how I feel over the remaining week and a half..

Have tried a new technique with the Grade 6 classes who are still overly noisy especially after lunch and the last period of the day. It was an idea passed to me by one of the Anglo teachers, I send them all back outside so we can try playing a new game, I'll pretend I am a teacher and they pretend they are a class... It actually works.. mind you I doubt I could use it in UK where half the class would probably do a runner.

Finally for tonight I met Hilf and Iger last weekend and forgot to mention it, and before anyone tells me it is Hilfiger !!! I promise you the young lady wearing the top defintly had them seperated, and a fine sight it was too, Sorry it was the rare occassion I didnt have the camera with me.
