1 Week till October Break.

Nothing much to really add tonight.
The school day was uneventful (I did miss a meeting which actually was probably on reflection a plus point.) I am just about at a stage where I need the break because I am finding the teaching quite stressful and I think its down to my teaching not the kids ability to learn - I am beginning to think I am expecting too much from them, setting the bar too high and as such getting frustrated when they don't seem to want to reach it. Thats different from they can't reach it because I know they can, but they just don't have the drive to try.
The longer I am here the more I actually feel the projects we are doing are all wrong. This environment and the educational background of the students would suggest a different approach sadly we don't have a budget to do it this year, but it will be a strong recommendation for next year. Robotics, Mechanics and Graphics with a small amount Craft. Sounds a far better curriculum prospect than trying to get 27 kids around 3 vibro saws.
Laughs I'm just tired and in need of the break... and I have another 120 Folios to Mark! Ah well Manyana
