I enjoyed the day its always nice to be involved with the kids outwith the classroom where they can be themselves and relax. All in a good day - but I still don't have a phone line apparantly its going to take 3 days to check it out and see if they can fix it ! Tomorrow Saturday I am going to go try to find another shopping centre apparantly its reasonably close though I havent come across it, as its in the opposite direction from the way I usually walk so a bit more exploring. On Sunday I am going out early in the Morning with a Christian Support Group who every Sunday go down into the centre of Bogota to provide Hot Chocolate and Sandwiches to those less fortunate apparantly over 500 people turn up for this so I have volunteered my services to help them. I will be chaperoned (Thankfully) by one of the teachers who I travel with so I expect to have some interesting viewpoints on Sundays Update. Manyana.

Love & Friendship
Love and friendship day is a bit like a cross between Valentines Day and the Secret Santa that happens in UK. Today classes really seemed to take a back seat as the kids were far more into the day and it wasn't really surprising when as you come into the school every space has been decorated with hearts it really did make the day feel special. During Mentoria the period I have working with Hernando the Spanish geography Teacher (On the left)
and my Mentoria group we had a breakfast where everyone brought in various things to eat ( So many Chocolate Brownies and some delightful Chocolate Cakes it was a really nice morning and I slipped my secret friend package onto the desk for David (pronounced Daa Veed) to find and I received my secret friend present from Hernando who I am sure fixed it lol as I got a great bottle of Red Wine. David I think knew the hat was from me but all credit to him he immediately put it on and wore it for the rest of the time in Mentori.
After lunch the local TV Company City TV were in the grounds to support and provide a Stage show with Bands for the entertainment of the kids. This was really good and as you will see from the video everyone seemed to be out and enjoying it. If you watch the stage you will see a large pink padded area on the right hand side, thats the sponsor advert and if you can't guess its the colombian equivalent of Tampax, you wont see too many UK bands sharing the stage with Tampax but here it is just another advert. Oh at the end of the video you will see Amy (English) showing off her Red Tongue from eating too many lollipops and Diana my colleague adding a Royal wave just to show she was enjoying the day.
