I still have the MAN FLU !!

Ok its a cold... but its beginning to get me down !!

Today of course was parents day at end of term 2 ... I spoke to 12 parents one in atrocious Spanish !! I might have actually told her that her daughter who is a lovely young lady was a cross dressing transvestite who shaves twice a day (This in no way is meant to be insulting to any cross dressing transvestites with 5 oclock shadows who might be reading this)so bad is my Spanish.

However the mother did leave with a smile on her face either happy in the knowledge her daughter had shaved that day or I had actually said something right.

I also had one boy and his parents in which made me smile... Why has my son failed the term.. (Bearing in mind this is the lad who has failed about 4 subjects because he does nothing.) I showed them my records of his work explaining it was not a one off occurrence but an ongoing event... Somehow I dont see it making a big difference but we will see.

So all in although Parents Evening was long it was actually ok. And I had set up Powerpoints at different areas of the school to show off the Technology Department.

Tomorrow is at the moment an easy day which is maybe just as well since I have a lot of tidying up to do.

Now time for bed and IF I had any whisky I would be having a HOT TODDY !!! instead I had a glass of warm milk.. (OK I didn't I know but it almost sounded convincing and would probably have been so much better for me, than the Beer I DID HAVE)
