Short periods still dont work in mny view but since I was taking kids through the exam format and the help sheets wasnt really an issue today. I am still tired but getting through the day easily enough once my body clock stops working to UK time I will be fine.
Looking forward to the weekend to go for a walk BUT I hope the weather improves its not cold by Scottish standards BUT it is by Colombian standards in fact I have heard locals saying its unknown to have such a bad December and January which are usually some of the nicest months for weather.
It will take me till after the weekend to recover from the travelling I think but at least by then I should be able to relax as the kids go through their week of exams.
The grade 8 kids are excellent they work hard and they are great fun to teach,if and when I move from here the one thing I know I will miss is the openess and friendly attitude the kids have, I had wished one of the girls a happy birthday because her birthday was on the 24th of December she was so happy I had remembered today that she was beaming all lesson. Its the little things that make teaching a good experience.
