Long day... but its over.

Well as expected I managed to pick up 2 of Diana's classes in my 2 free periods. So I taught 2 hours then 30 minutes mentoring then 3 hours teaching then an hour for lunch then another hour teaching. By the time 1530 came I felt like I could happily just go to sleep.

Todays events would have worked better if the Library had actually allocated computers to Dianas classes but they didnt. So I ended up giving them 10 minutes at a time on the machines in my room. The second class were supposed to be in a PC Suite but again the room was being used by some other class which was very annoying. We struggled through but it is frustrating when Diana organised these things only to find that they manage to get unorganised the minute she is gone. That and there is no point me arguing with the Spanish staff as they havent a clue what I am saying and vice versa.

Tomorrow of course is the short periods and then afternoon meetings but during the afternoon I need to reorganise one of the classrooms for the pupils examas that start on Thursday. I dont think a technology room is a good room for an exam but they are short of spaces apparantly so its make do...
