This was a bit of a non day as days go, only 2 classes very little to get excited about apart from my "duty" every Day 1 I have duty at Lunch at one of the entances ensuring the kids go in properly dressed (Uniform wise) and have taken off their Headphones (No Digital Twins allowed - the ones who share an individual headphone from a pair - what i wantt to know is are they listening to it in stereo in which case does one hear the left channel and the other the right channel and if so WHY bother?)Anyways I digress... Today instead of just 1 lady ready to hand out tickets I noticed there were 2 thats a bit of overkill I thought till the kids started arriving and the Queue immediately stretched well into the distance from my position out on the edge of the queue it wasn't immediately obvious what the problem was till I took time to go back and check and found that they were using a digital fingerprint scanner to check identities going into EAT !! I know Colombia is a very legalistic society but fingerprints for access to the dining hall is surely a little extreme. However without it I might have had little to add tonight so only this once I will say thank you for the Red Tape.
Tomorrow is one of the short period days but there is also the funeral of a respected teacher from the school, I only know he was an Art Teacher and that he passed away yesterday, however there seems to be a great number of staff and pupils going from the school to the funeral so not quite sure how many pupils I'll have in class tomorrow.
I have got my phone line back again no reasons why it wasn't working just today it was again (Thats exactly the 3 days they said it would take to fix as well). I also had a maintenance guy round again to modify the hot water setting to make it hotter and he succeeded I can now get HOT water rather than tepid or luke warm which has made me feel a lot more positive about morning showers as well as washing dishes that might actually be biologically cleaner. Though I hasten to add I haven't had any serious food poisoning yet but it was a worry ;)
