Weekend Update

This has been a fairly quiet weekend, wandered around the Palatino Mall and visited the nearest exito only bought some wee odds and ends. So couldn't even put my visit down to Retail Therapy.

The first picture is from outside my apartment block looking towards the 140 the main road nearest to me. Its a fairly nice, though basic district, called Cedritos, but walk a few blocks in any direction and some of the houses are big, though all are behind gated surrounds and most have their own private security in the grounds.


The second picture was taken at one of the main junctions and shows the fruit sellers that appear as if out of no where, I feel this is possibly one step up from the suicidal sellers who walk the main roads with a sense of invulnerability as cars, buses and lorries go barreling past. I think twice and still hesitate before crossing a road yet the sellers working in small teams seem to drift in and out of traffic like the fumes from the small buses.

The final picture was taken from the top of the Palatino Mall looking back down the 140 as a guide I live about half way down so its always a choice of whether to walk up to the Palatino, Across to the Exito or down to the Panamericana shop (That seemes to stock everything but in smaller quantaties than the Exito Superstore.)

Been looking for an online grading system and registration program and have found one called Classroom Gradebook 8 a freeware programe that seems to meet all my needs. Always feel as an ICT & Technology teacher I should use it at every occassions.
